Help with Morrow
Questions, problems or ideas. We read every email.
hello@wakemorrow.comThe alarm didn't ring
- Check that alarms are on for Morrow. If they're off, Home tells you. Turn them on in your iPhone's Settings app, on Morrow's page.
- Check the day. Tap the ring on Home to see your alarm. A day that says Off or Skip doesn't ring.
- Check the volume. Morrow's alarm uses your iPhone's Ringtone and Alerts volume, in Settings, then Sounds and Haptics. It rings even in silent mode and in a Focus.
- Keep Morrow visible. Morrow's alarms won't ring if Morrow is hidden or locked with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode.
- Keep your iPhone on. A phone that's off or out of battery can't ring.
- Keep a backup alarm? Set it at least 5 minutes after Morrow's. When two alarms ring in the same minute, your iPhone may play only one of them, or neither.
- Try it now with Test my alarm, below.
Still not ringing? Email hello@wakemorrow.com with your iPhone model, its iOS version and the time it should have rung.
The alarm rang, but no briefing played
- Morrow needs the internet to get your briefing. If it couldn't, it tells you when you stop the alarm, and you can play it from Home once you're back online.
- After your free week, your briefings need Morrow+. Without a plan, Morrow keeps ringing as a regular alarm.
How Test my alarm works
- In Morrow, open Settings and tap Test my alarm, under YOUR ALARM.
- Lock your phone. In about a minute, Morrow rings with the start of your latest briefing, just like a real morning.
- Slide to stop, and it plays the rest from where it left off.
To cancel a test before it rings, tap Test my alarm again. A test never changes your real alarms. If your briefings are off, it rings your regular alarm instead.
Cancel Morrow+
Morrow+ is billed by Apple, so you cancel it in your iPhone's subscription settings:
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Morrow.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Or in Morrow, open Settings and tap your plan, under PLAN. Your plan keeps working until the end of the time you've paid for. Deleting Morrow or your account doesn't cancel it. For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restore purchase
New iPhone, or installed Morrow again? In Morrow, open Settings and tap Restore purchase. It's also on the plans screen. Use the same Apple Account you bought Morrow+ with. A plan works on one Morrow account at a time, so restoring moves it to the account you're signed in to.
Delete my account
In Morrow, open Settings and tap Delete my account, at the bottom. Morrow asks you to confirm with Apple, then deletes your account and what Morrow keeps about you right away, except a scrambled code kept for a year so the free week can't start again. It also turns off Morrow's alarms and ends Sign in with Apple for Morrow. Copies made along the way, like server logs, are deleted on their own schedule (see the privacy policy).
You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Morrow: open the Settings app, search for "Sign in with Apple", tap Morrow, then tap Delete. If you delete Morrow in Sign in with Apple, or delete your Apple Account, Morrow deletes your account too. Morrow on your iPhone then turns off its alarms and tells you, the next time it connects.
Can't open Morrow? Email hello@wakemorrow.com with what you can tell us, like your first name, your time zone and about when you set Morrow up. Morrow doesn't know your email address, so these help us find your account.
Haven't finished setting up? Tap Delete what I shared on the First briefing screen. An account that never finished setup is deleted automatically after 30 days without use. Deleting your account doesn't cancel Morrow+, so cancel it first.
